MINSK, 5 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian Internal Affairs Ministry is ready to bolster and advance cooperation with law enforcement agencies of the United States of America in all areas of mutual interest, BelTA learned from the Internal Affairs Ministry website.
Belarusian First Deputy Internal Affairs Minister Igor Podgursky met with George Kent, Deputy Assistant Secretary in the European and Eurasian Bureau at the U.S. Department of State. The meeting took place as part of the American delegation's visit to Belarus. Igor Podgursky expressed readiness to bolster and advance interaction with law enforcement agencies of the United States of America in all areas of mutual interest.
The sides also discussed items on the international agenda concerning security and the counteraction of global challenges and threats.
