MINSK, 24 June (BelTA) – Belarusian farm stays will offer a doors open day on 28-29 June, representatives of the Belarusian association Country Escape told BelTA.
Over 130 farm stays from all parts of the country will join the campaign. Each farm stay will prepare a special program featuring excursions, music, samplings of national cuisine, sport events, workshops, and other kinds of entertainment.
This year's doors open day in Belarusian farm stays has been timed to the 2nd European Games Minsk 2019. The organizers believe the campaign will help promote farm tourism and will help popularize farm stays among Belarusian and foreign tourists.
Guests, who intend to visit farm stays, are advised to contact their hosts in advance in order to clarify the time and the number of guests, who intend to arrive.
The first doors open day in Belarusian farm stays took place in 2012. The event attracts thousands of tourists and is organized with assistance of the Sports and Tourism Ministry, the Belarusian association Country Escape, and owners of farm stays. Farm tourism is one of the most successfully developing kinds of tourism in Belarus.
