NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 5 May (BelTA) - The Embassy of Belarus in France took part in a ceremony to lay wreaths at the monument to Soviet prisoners of war and members of the French Resistance movement. The annual solemn ceremony took place at the military cemetery in the French city of Noyer-Saint-Martin, BelTA learned from the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in France.
The event was held on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Great Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. The ceremony was attended by heads and staff of the embassies of Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and representatives of local authorities.
On behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus, a wreath was laid by Chargé d'Affaires of Belarus in France Kirill Grushevsky.
