Belarusian educational platform enters Sber500 accelerator program

MINSK, 18 January (BelTA) – The Belarusian educational platform Znaj.by has entered the international IT startup accelerator program Sber500, BelTA learned from the press service of Belarus' Hi-Tech Park.

This is the third batch of entries. During the first two batches, the participants attracted more than RUB590 million (Br20.4 million) in investment from third-party investors and Sber.

Znaj.by is a platform of digital services for education that features 1,388 Belarusian schools. The project has been developed by the Hi-Tech Park resident company EduTech Solution.

The third batch of the accelerator accepts entries from startups from CIS, Israel and Northern Europe. The accelerator is currently running a two-week online boot camp for the longlisted startups. Teams are to work out value propositions, learn to communicate with different target segments and to push customers to make purchases.

In late April, the accelerator will shortlist 25 bootcamp-tested startups for the final presentation for corporations, funds, and angel investors.

Earlier, Znaj.by was named one of the CIS top five projects in education management by the global analytical company HolonIQ.
