Belarusian BelAZ to showcase trucks at mining expo in Australia

MINSK, 23 October (BelTA) – The Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ will take part in the International Mining and Resources Conference IMARC, which is scheduled to take place in Melbourne, Australia on 28-31 October, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian company will present its own stand. Representatives of the automaker and its regional dealership BelAZ Australia Pty Ltd will present BelAZ products during the panel session on mine optimization, mining operations and production.

Australia is ranked third in terms of iron ore production and fourth in terms of coal production in the world. IMARC is the largest mining industry event in the country. Representatives of about 250 mining companies and 400 investment companies from 90 countries are expected to participate in the conference. About 150 companies will present cutting-edge mining products.

Sales and aftersales service are priority areas of BelAZ's work in Australia. IMARC will help effectively implement the sketched out plans, the BelAZ press service noted.
