
MINSK, 24 May (BelTA) – Belavia's air fleet is fully utilized, Belarusian First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov said at a joint sitting of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus on 24 May, BelTA has learned.
“In the context of the EU ban to use its airspace, the Belarusian airline had to change routes. We all felt it. Today the entire fleet is utilized to the full. Belavia operates flights to 19 airports in nine countries," Nikolai Snopkov said.
The measures taken made it possible to double the export of passenger air transport services to Turkey, Georgia and Russia, and almost triple to Azerbaijan in 2022. In Q1 2023, the export of air services to Russia, Georgia, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates continued to grow.
