MINSK, 30 May (BelTA) – Units of the missile forces of Belarus' Armed Forces have started carrying out combat training tasks as part of a missile strike control test, the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
An army unit armed with mobile short-range ballistic missile systems Iskander-M is taking part in the control test.
The military personnel will have to study and apply in practice the knowledge of how missile forces are supposed to prepare for and carry out combat operations. Apart from that, the Belarusian military personnel will have to accomplish combat training tasks in the course of preparing for and carrying out missile strikes using conventional munitions and special munitions.
