NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 21 September (BelTA) – Combat teams of the 1st Air Defense Missile Regiment, the 377th Guards Air Defense Missile Regiment, and the 15th Air Defense Missile Brigade successfully fired live missiles at target missiles both in daytime and nighttime in the Russian military training area Telemba, the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
The supervisor of the exercise, Deputy Chief of the Air Force and Air Defense Command Dmitry Mikholap praised actions of the Belarusian army units in the military training area Telemba in the course of the tactical exercise for air defense army units.
BelTA reported earlier that the Belarusian army units had to destroy aerial targets of the simulated enemy in a complicated environment full of jamming. The targets posed as modern cruise missiles fired by air defense missile systems S-300.
