MINSK, 19 April (BelTA) – A tactical live-fire exercise for air defense missile and artillery units of the 19th and 120th independent guards mechanized brigades took place in the 174th Air Force and Air Defense exercise area, representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
The troops practiced using air defense missile systems Strela-10, man-portable air defense missile systems Igla, and air defense cannon and missile systems Tunguska.
The live-fire exercise was the final stage of a field exercise for the troops. Over the course of several weeks the personnel practiced using their weapon systems and polished their skills.
