
MINSK, 17 March (BelTA) – Belarusian Emergencies Minister Vadim Sinyavsky met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates Ibrahim Salim Mohamed Almusharrekh, representatives of the ministry told BelTA.
Vadim Sinyavsky presented the main tasks and successfully implemented areas of work of the Emergencies Ministry. He also mentioned Belarus is ready to share the best practices in a number of areas, including rescue personnel training and population safety awareness efforts. In turn, the UAE ambassador mentioned the friendly nature of interstate relations between the two countries. He also confirmed the UAE's readiness to provide comprehensive support to Belarus in various aspects of bilateral interaction.
During the meeting the sides discussed the main avenues of Belarus-UAE interaction and mentioned the need to give a practical impulse to bilateral cooperation in protecting the population and territories from emergencies.
As a result of the meeting Vadim Sinyavsky invited the ambassador to get familiar with education capabilities of the ministry's Civil Protection University and to visit a safety education center of the ministry in order to get familiar with the Belarusian experience of formation of the culture of life safety.
