MINSK, 15 October (BelTA) – Belarusian book publishers will take part in a book fair in Frankfurt am Main, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Information Ministry.
“The delegation of domestic publishers, book distributors and printers will display more than 500 new Belarusian books at the world's largest book forum. A special focus is on the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazis and the Year of Native Land. The Belarusian stand will also showcase books by German authors published in our country,” the ministry said
“The 71st edition of the Frankfurt International Book Fair will run from 16 to 20 October and will bring together book lovers, writers and publishing professionals from all over the world. This year's Guest of Honor is Norway. The Frankfurt Book Fair is considered to be the most prestigious and large-scale international event not only in the literary and publishing sector, but also in culture in general. Every year the forum welcomes about 300,000 visitors and displays some 400,000 books.More about Society
