MINSK, 24 June (BelTA) – A representative of the Armed Forces will attend the OSCE Annual Security Review Conference (ASRC) as part of the Belarusian delegation on 25-27 June, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
According to the Defense Ministry, the OSCE Annual Security Review Conference is the organization's flagship event for enhancing security dialogue. “The conference provides an opportunity to analyze the situation and possible areas of cooperation in the OSCE region in respect to recurity,” the Belarusian Defense Ministry said. The ASRC participants assess the compliance of the OSCE military political instruments with modern requirements.
According to the Defense Ministry, a representative of the Armed Forces of Belarus will take part in an inspection visit of a certain area in Poland on 24-27 June as part of the Russian inspection team. “The inspectors will check on military activities, which are subject to preliminary notification,” the ministry said.
