
MINSK, 19 May (BelTA) - Belarusian National Technical University has signed agreements on cooperation with educational institutions of Zimbabwe, BelTA learned from the university's press service.
The visit of the Zimbabwean delegation to the country's leading technical university was aimed at developing cooperation in higher education and university science. The Zimbabwean delegation is led by Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development Amon Murwira. The parties discussed their educational institutions, possible joint programs and plans. The representatives of Zimbabwe praised the high level of engineering training in Belarusian National Technical University.
Cooperation agreements were signed between Belarusian National Technical University and Harare Polytechnic College, Belarusian National Technical University and Midland State University. A number of agreements have also been concluded to implement joint educational programs.
