MINSK, 25 March (BelTA) – Belarus' education system has been presented at the Global Education & Skills Forum that took place in the United Arab Emirates on 22-25 March, BelTA learned from the press center of the Education Ministry.

A ministerial summit was held on the sidelines of the forum. Belarus' Deputy Education Minister Sergei Rudy presented Belarus' best education practices and the country's progress towards achieving sustainable development goals. He also took part in a debate that sought to discuss obstacles towards the SDGs and ways to remove them.

Sergei Rudy met with senior officials of the Ministry of Education of the UAE. “The parties discussed Belarus-UAE educational partnerships, cooperation prospects in personnel training, including in vocational education,” the press center informed.
