Belarus takes in over 24,000 Ukrainian citizens since 1 January 2023

MINSK, 2 June (BelTA) – A total of 24,612 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 1 January 2023, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

According to the committee, 17,847 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 5,183 via Lithuania and 1,582 via Latvia.

Since 24 February 2022, Belarus has admitted 99,316 citizens of Ukraine. 15,890 people arrived in Belarus directly from the territory of Ukraine. 64,352 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 15,333 via Lithuania and 3,741 via Latvia.
