Belarus takes in over 21,300 Ukrainian citizens since 1 January 2023

MINSK, 12 May (BelTA) – A total of 21 367 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 1 January 2023, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

According to the committee, 15,487 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 10,150 via Lithuania and 2,159 via Latvia.

Since 24 February 2022, Belarus has admitted 96,072 citizens of Ukraine. 15,890 people arrived in Belarus directly from the territory of Ukraine. 61,993 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 14,592 via Lithuania and 3,597 via Latvia.
