Belarus takes in almost 120,000 Ukrainian citizens since February 2022

MINSK, 30 September (BelTA) – Nearly 120,000 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since February 2022, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

About 45,100 Ukrainian nationals have come to Belarus since 1 January 2023. Nearly 33,000 Ukrainians entered Belarus via Poland, about 10,000 via Lithuania and some 2,200 via Latvia.

Nearly 120,000 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 24 February 2022. According to the State Border Committee, nearly 15,900 people arrived in Belarus directly from the territory of Ukraine, 79,500 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, over 20,100 via Lithuania and more than 4,300 via Latvia.
