Belarus, Syria discuss military cooperation

MINSK, 17 May (BelTA) – Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Syria Mohammad al-Umrani, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry.

The parties discussed bilateral military cooperation between Belarus and Syria and topical issues on the international agenda.

The head of the Syrian diplomatic mission thanked the Belarusian Defense ministry for the medical assistance provided to people in the Aleppo Province in the wake of the devastating earthquake.
