Belarus studies France's best practices in energy sector

MINSK, 21 December (BelTA) – A delegation from Belarus is in France on a working visit on 19-21 December to study the country's experience in the development of the energy sector. The visit became possible due to the agreements made on the sidelines of the 5th Belarus-France Business Forum in Minsk on 26 October, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in France.

“The delegation has comprised Deputy Energy Minister Olga Prudnikova, and also representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the State Committee for Standardization. The main purpose of the trip is to study the experience of the development of the French energy industry, the use of renewable energy, wind energy and nuclear energy, household waste management,” the embassy said.

While in France, the Belarusian delegation met with representatives of the companies CIFAL, Vestas, MONT-FORT, and Arville City Hall. Business talks with CNIM are in the program of the visit.
