Belarus-Russia Union State MPs want young people to contribute more to integration processes

MOSCOW, 17 May (BelTA) – Members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia are interested in getting young people to play a more prominent role in Belarus-Russia integration processes. These matters will be discussed during the session of the Social Policy, Science, Culture, and Humanitarian Affairs Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia in the Russian city of Anapa on 25 May, the Parliamentary Assembly press service told BelTA.

Participants of the session are expected to discuss the involvement of young citizens in the construction of the Union State of Belarus and Russia. Progress in preparing for and the actual first session of the Youth Chamber under the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia and the next festival Young People For the Union State will be discussed as well.

Results of the 53rd session of the Parliamentary Assembly's permanently open seminar on Union State construction will be summed up as well. That session focused on the participation of young Belarusians and Russians in the accomplishment of topical youth policy tasks in the Union State of Belarus and Russia. As a result of the session the agenda includes the participation of young people of the Union State in the project International Youth Business Incubator and the organization of youth tourism in Belarus and Russia.

Members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia, representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, the Belarusian Education Ministry, the Federal Tourism Agency of Russia, youth associations of Belarus and Russia, sanatoriums and recreational institutions, government agencies of Russia's Krasnodar Territory and the Anapa city administration will take part in the meeting.
