Belarus, Russia to sign cooperation roadmap in medical education

MINSK, 13 November (BelTA) – The healthcare ministries of Belarus and Russia are discussing continuous medical education at a joint session of the boards in Kazan, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

Belarus' official delegation is led by First Deputy Healthcare Minister Dmitry Pinevich, Russia's delegation is chaired by State Secretary – Deputy Minister of Health Dmitry Kostennikov.

The parties are set to sign a roadmap to implement the memorandum of understanding to expand cooperation in continuous education in medicine and pharmaceutics signed by the healthcare ministries in 2016.

Top on the agenda are joint research projects, cooperation in pharmaceutics, including unified approaches to marking medicines in the common commodity market.

During their visit to Kazan, the Belarusian delegation will tour Kazan State Medical Academy, Kazan Federal University, a municipal outpatient clinic and other facilities.
