MINSK, 2 March (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia will sign agreements on a permit-free system for freight transportation by road and on aviation tariffs in 2023, BelTA learned from Belarusian Transport and Communications Minister Aleksei Avramenko before a session of the ministry's board.
According to Aleksei Avramenko, two unrealized agreements are left within the framework of the transport program of the Union State of Belarus and Russia. “We are working on them. In H1 2023 we are supposed to come close to signing the agreement on gradual transition to a permit-free system. The second agreement deals with aviation tariffs. We have to equalize the relevant conditions,” the transport and communications minister stated.
