
MINSK, 31 May (BelTA) - The joint advisory group on arms control at the Defense Ministries of Belarus and Russia has gathered for the 61st meeting in Minsk, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry.
On behalf of Russia the meeting is attended by a delegation led by Head of the National Center for Nuclear Risk Reduction Sergei Ryzhkov. The Belarusian delegation is led by the head of the verification unit of the Department of International Military Cooperation at the Defense Ministry Yuri Rakitsky.
The parties are set to discuss regional security, the state and prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of arms control in the current military and political situation.
