Belarus-Russia joint tactical air force exercise over

MINSK, 2 February (BelTA) – A joint tactical air force exercise of the armed forces of Belarus and Russia has ended, the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.

High cohesion of the staffs and confident joint actions of Belarusian and Russian pilots were demonstrated during the exercise. The aviation component of the Belarus-Russia regional military force carried out a broad range of practical tasks.

The exercise was designed to ensure the security of the Union State of Belarus and Russia and was purely defensive, the Defense Ministry stressed.
