
MINSK, 1 June (BelTA) - Head of the Department of International Military Cooperation, Assistant to the Belarusian Defense Minister for Foreign Military Policy Colonel Valery Revenko met with a delegation of the Russian National Center for Nuclear Risk Reduction, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry.
Belarus and Russia discussed a strategy for bilateral cooperation in the field of regional security and arms control.
The participants of the meeting noted the need to create a new arms control system in Europe. The parties reaffirmed the commitment of the Defense Ministries of Belarus and Russia to continuing close cooperation on this matter.
