MINSK, 24 August (BelTA) – As of 23 August, 68,839 patients previously diagnosed with COVID-19 recovered and were discharged from hospitals in Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.
A total of 70,468 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in the country so far. Belarus has performed 1,474,075 tests.
As many as 642 COVID-19 patients suffering from a number of chronic diseases have died in Belarus.
