
MINSK, 16 December (BelTA) - Consul General of Belarus in Shanghai Andrei Andreyev took part in the signing of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between Hospital No.2 of the Orsha Central Polyclinic and the Hongdu Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Nanchang, the capital city of Jiangxi Province on 15 December, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Shanghai.
The document envisages the exchange of practical and scientific experience, medical technologies, mutual internship and advanced training of medical personnel as well as implementation of projects in traditional Chinese medicine, including physical therapy, reflexology, electro-needling, acupuncture and qigong at the Orsha Central Polyclinic.
The event was attended by First Deputy Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Sergey Patz, Vice Mayor of the Nanchang Municipal People's Government Zhao Jie, executives and specialists from the Orsha District Executive Committee and the Nanchang Municipal People's Government, Belarusian and Chinese medical institutions, and the Orsha office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
According to Andrei Andreyev, the direct interaction established in 2022 between Orsha and Nanchang in innovative and traditional medicine at the level of individual medical institutions was a practical result of joint efforts of Belarus and China to fulfill the priority tasks of Belarusian-Chinese cooperation set by the leaders of Belarus and China in the joint declaration on the establishment of all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership relations.
