Belarus' Order of Honor presented to Azerbaijani businessman Vasif Ismayilov

MINSK, 21 August (BelTA) – On behalf of the Belarusian president, Belarus Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei has presented the Order of Honor to Azerbaijani businessman and investor Vasif Ismayilov, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Vasif Ismayilov's company erected a lot of buildings and structures in Minsk and Mogilev. The construction of a large facility in Bobruisk is nearing completion and work is underway to build the residential complex Baku Quarter in the Belarusian capital. In 2013, the company built the complex of the Belarusian Embassy in Azerbaijan. The businessman is also actively involved in charity programs both in Azerbaijan and Belarus. For example, this year he donated funds to help Belarus respond to the coronavirus.

Vasif Ismayilov was bestowed the Order of Honor in recognition of his significant contribution to the development of trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijan. The relevant presidential decree was signed on 21 November 2019. On 21 August 2020, Vasif Ismayilov received the award from Vladimir Makei.
