MINSK, 20 June (BelTA) – Belarus offered Bosnia and Herzegovina to sign an agreement on visa-free travel for holders of ordinary passports. “We should continue developing the legal framework for bilateral cooperation. One of Belarus' priorities is to sign an agreement on visa-free travel for holders of ordinary passports. The visa waiver already applies to holders of diplomatic and service passports,” Sergei Rumas said.

Moreover, Belarus is ready to consider an agreement to avoid double taxation, step up cooperation in science, education, culture, social welfare, and tourism, and sign appropriate cooperation agreements. “We are ready to continue strengthening friendly relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina and implement joint projects,” Sergei Rumas noted.

Bosnia and Herzegovina has sent 16 athletes to compete in the 2nd European Games in Minsk which will kick off on 21 June. Sergei Rumas noted that Belarus will provide necessary conditions for the athletes and wished them success.

Milorad Dodik pointed out that Bosnia and Herzegovina and Belarus have no issues of disagreement which is an important prerequisite for bolstering cooperation. He also noted that Belarus has prepared well for the European Games.
