Belarus National Art Museum issues guest card ahead of its 80th anniversary

MINSK, 11 January (BelTA) – The National Art Museum of Belarus has updated its guest card ahead of its 80th anniversary, BelTA learned from the head of the museum marketing department, Svetlana Voropay.

“The card has been designed by Anastasia Nikitina. It depicts a sculpture of the beautiful Juno standing in the Western Europe art hall. Searching for the sculpture can be a kind of quest," Svetlana Voropay said.

The guest card allows visiting the museum permanent exhibition, temporary non-commercial exhibitions and the events such as September Night at the Art Museum and Night of Museums. This card is a second edition, and in contrast to the first one it can be used not only during the calendar year but during 365 days from the date of purchase. With the guest card of the National Art Museum, your every day can be full of art," she said.

In 2019, all the activities of the museum will be timed to the anniversary date. An exhibition dedicated to the art of restoration will be among them. “Belarus' National Art Museum is not only a large Belarusian exhibition platform. It is also a large restoration center. Therefore, we decided to show our restorers' achievements at the new exhibition, which will start on 24 January,” Svetlana Voropay added.
