MINSK, 16 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian medical emergency crew has finished its work in Syria, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry of Belarus.
Right now, the Belarusian medical team is heading from Aleppo to the air base, from where they will fly home.
The Belarusian military medics flew off to Syria on 8 February to help victims of the devastating earthquakes. The field hospital that was set up by the Belarusian medics received an average of about 200 patients per day. They treated Syrians who sustained injuries during the earthquake, and those who had chronic diseases and injuries received during hostilities in Syria.
