MINSK, 19 December (BelTA) - Belarus has joined the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), BelTA learned from the website of the bank.
According to AIIB President Jin Liqun, new members in the bank demonstrate the trust of the international community in AIIB.
The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank was founded in 2015 as part of China's initiative. Among the AIIB biggest shareholders are China, India and Russia.
