MINSK, 21 March (BelTA) – Ways to strengthen cooperation between the customs services of Belarus and India were discussed at a meeting between representatives of the Belarusian customs service led by Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee Alexander Bogdevich and First Secretary for Trade at the Indian Embassy in Moscow, Customs Attache Vrindaba Gohil, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Customs Committee.
The major goal of the meeting was to enhance the level of practical cooperation between the customs services of the two countries, exchange experience in the promising areas of customs administration. The parties discussed matters of law protection activity, the development of the legal framework through the drafting of the agreement between the governments of Belarus and India on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs matters. The parties also talked over personnel training issues.
Vrindaba Gohil also got familiar with the customs operations at Minsk National Airport.
