Belarus, India announce contest of sci-tech projects for 2022-2023

MINSK, 28 December (BelTA) - The State Committee on Science and Technology of Belarus and the Ministry of Science and Technology of India have announced a contest of joint sci-technical projects for 2022-2023, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Committee on Science and Technology.

The competition is centered around the main areas of bilateral cooperation, including information and communication technologies with a focus on artificial intelligence, internet of things, machine learning, cloud services; biotechnology (including medicine and pharmaceuticals); new materials (including for additive manufacturing and powder metallurgy, nanostructured and ceramic materials, functional coatings and thin films for various applications).

Applications are accepted from 3 January through 28 February 2022. They should contain a business plan and a written commitment of a public sector customer to use the outcomes of research and secure shared financing. Applications should be sent in an electronic form to the Belarusian State Committee on Science and Technology.

The contest is held in line with the agreement on sci-tech cooperation signed by the governments of Belarus and India on 14 May 1993 and the protocol of the ninth session of the joint Belarusian-Indian commission on cooperation in science and technology as of 5 August 2020.
