Belarus Independence Day in BelTA's archival photos

Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus (Republic Day) is a public holiday established on 3 July, the day when Minsk was liberated from the Nazi invaders, in the 1996 national referendum.

Every year, in the middle of summer, the country turns into one big holiday venue. We offer you to plunge into the wonderful atmosphere of the celebration and to see how Belarusians celebrated Independence Day in different years.
