
MINSK, 30 January (BelTA) – Over 10,000 foreigners have visited Belarus as part of the visa-waiver travel program within the past week, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
Since 1 January 2023, Belarus has hosted more than 33,000 arrivals from the EU as part of its visa-waiver program: 24,420 citizens of Lithuania, 4,759 non-citizens and 1,269 citizens of Latvia, and 2,799 Polish citizens. Since the launch of the visa-waiver program for neighboring EU countries, Belarus has hosted 418,233 arrivals: 272,683 citizens of Lithuania, 28,148 non-citizens and 92,893 citizens of Latvia, and 24,509 Polish citizens.
