MINSK, 17 October (BelTA) – The Days of Turkmenistan Culture in Belarus will kick off at the Belarusian State Philharmonic Hall on 17 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Culture Ministry.
Attending the opening ceremony will be Culture Minister Yuri Bondar and Deputy Culture Minister of Turkmenistan Nursahet Shirimov. The program will feature a concert from Turkmen performers and also a performance of the Khoroshki Dance Company. A display of arts and crafts will be available in the lobby of the Philharmonic Hall.
The Days of Turkmenistan Culture will be running in Minsk and Mogilev on 17-18 October.
The Belarusian and Turkmen peoples have rich cultural traditions partially developed as part of shared history. The familiarization with the each other's national heritage will make the two nations even closer.
