Belarus-Germany joint photo exhibition to open in Minsk

MINSK, 19 August (BelTA) – The exhibition Minsk-Hanover will open at the Vysokoye Mesto art parlor in Minsk on 21 August, BelTA learned from the Minsk History Museum.

“The exhibition will feature works by members of the photo clubs Minsk and BSW-fotogruppe Hannover,” the museum noted. “Last year, the Belarusian and German photo clubs organized a joint exhibition under the title ‘Leben in Minsk. Leben in Hannover' [Life in Minsk. Life in Hanover] in Hanover. The exhibition told the Germans a lot about Belarus and its capital. The photographers of the two countries found out that they are very similar and speak the same language of photography. This exhibition in Minsk will be a return visit.”

The exhibition Minsk-Hanover will be on view through 1 September.
