MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) – Belarus and Egypt are ready to sign an intergovernmental executive program in the area of higher education and postgraduate education in the near future. The matter was discussed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Egypt Sergei Terentyev met with Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister of Egypt Khaled Attef Abd El-Ghafar on 17 November, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
The sides discussed the state and prospects of advancing Belarus-Egypt cooperation in the area of higher education as well as matters concerning the improvement of the relevant legal base. The sides confirmed they are ready to sign an executive intergovernmental program in the area of higher education and postgraduate education in the near future.
Close attention was paid to the agenda of the forthcoming visit of the Egyptian higher education and scientific research minister to Belarus. The visit is scheduled for early 2020.
