NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 24 January (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt Sergei Terentyev has met with President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Egypt.
The parties discussed the state of the Belarus-Arab academic contacts. According to Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag, the academy is ready to continue cooperation with Belarusian universities in priority areas such as applied mathematics, information technology, artificial intelligence and medicine.
In addition, the ambassador conveyed cooperation proposals in the field of environmental protection from institutions subordinate to the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment of Belarus, as well as the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences.
