Belarus' economic development seen as focal point in president's address to nation

VITEBSK, 30 March (BelTA) - Belarus' economic development is one of the most interesting blocks that the president traditionally voices in his annual Address to the Belarusian People and the Parliament, Director of the Lukoml State District Power Plant Kirill Matsarski told BelTA.

“I am waiting for the President's Address to the Belarusian people and the Parliament to learn about the state of the country's economy on a global scale. I will also be interested to hear in detail how international cooperation is developing under difficult political conditions. For me as a representative of the energy industry it is important to know what markets and prospects of cooperation are opening up for Belarus (both in the Russian regions and in the Middle and Far East and Africa), what areas have already been developed and what are developing right now,” the head of the company said.

Kirill Matsarski added that the country's social development was also important to him, including the construction of new enterprises, job creation in small towns and villages, provision of housing, medicine and healthcare, education and opportunities for the Belarusian youth.
