Belarus' choreography professor to receive Japanese Order on 15 February

MINSK, 8 February (BelTA) - Japan's Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays will be awarded to Professor of the Belarusian State Choreographic College Klara Malysheva on 15 February, Charge d'Affaires of Japan to Belarus Hiroki Tokunaga said at a press conference, BelTA has learned.

Klara Malysheva will be decorated in recognition of her huge contribution to teaching ballet dancers in Japan and promoting friendship between ballet dancers of Japan and Belarus. She has not only trained Japanese dancers in Belarus but also conducted workshops in ballet schools in different regions of Japan. The Japanese party also appreciates her contribution in promoting mutual understanding between the countries in general.

Klara Malysheva is the first Belarusian to become a holder of the Japanese order.
