Belarus, China agree on further steps in military technical cooperation

MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) – Belarus and China have outlined further steps in developing military and technical cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus.

During the visit of the Chinese delegation, Chairman of the State Military Industrial Committee Oleg Dvigalev, held a meeting with Deputy Head of State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense (SASTIND) Xu Zhanbin. The parties shared views on the results and prospects for the implementation of joint military-technical projects. The Belarusian and Chinese sides expressed their satisfaction and positively assessed the results of bilateral cooperation and outlined further steps to develop military technical cooperation between Belarus and China.

The Chinese delegation, which comprised heads of the leading corporations and companies such as CASIC, Norinco, ALIT, AVIC, CATIC, visited a number of defense companies of Belarus. The program of the visit also included meetings with the leadership and academic staff of the Belarusian State University and the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics.

The presentation of new forms of investing and doing business in the Great Stone industrial park was held for heads of Chinese companies.
