Belarus’ border service: Poland's Kuznica Bialostocka and Bobrowniki checkpoints will reopen at 2.00 on 17 November

MINSK, 15 November (BelTA) - The Polish border checkpoints Kuznica Bialostocka and Bobrowniki will reopen on 17 November at 2.00 a.m. Belarusian time.  The Belarusian side received an official notification. The relevant resolution was signed by the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration of Poland yesterday, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

Passenger vehicle traffic, excluding buses, will be permitted through Kuznica Bialostocka. The Bobrowniki checkpoint will accommodate passenger cars, buses, and trucks from the European Union, countries of the European Economic Area, and Switzerland.

The State Border Committee noted that the customs authorities are prepared for full resumption of cross-border traffic at the adjacent Belarusian checkpoints Bruzgi and Berestovitsa; customs shifts are fully staffed, infrastructure has been upgraded, and all technical equipment there is operational.
The opening of two more Polish checkpoints will help improve the situation in the border area.
