MINSK, 19 July (BelTA) - The Belarusian government has approved a draft agreement with the European Commission to finance the international technical assistance project “MOBILITY4EU - Mobility Scheme for Targeted People-to-People-Contact (MOST) Phase II”, reads Resolution No. 533 issued by the Council of Ministers on 16 July 2018. The document has been officially posted on the national legal Internet portal, BelTA has learned.
The resolution has approved the draft agreement between the Belarusian government and the European Commission on the financing of the technical assistance project as a basis for negotiations.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been authorized to negotiate the draft agreement and sign it upon agreement within the scope of the approved draft.
Mobility Scheme for Targeted People-to-People Contacts (MOST) is a project of the European Union aimed at expanding contacts between the citizens of the EU and Belarus in order to exchange best practices and improve mutual understanding. MOST provides an opportunity to visit the EU in order to establish and deepen professional contacts. The key sectors of the MOST project are culture, education and youth, science and technology. Applications are also open to other areas, for example, economics, health and so on.
