Attending the meeting was First Deputy Premier Aleksandr Turchin, BelTA has learned.

"Belarus keeps promoting a unifying agenda within the framework of international initiatives of the head of state. Honoring its obligations within the framework of strategic partnerships with the Russian Federation and integration structures, such as the EAEU, the CIS, the CSTO, and the SCO, Belarus keeps building relations in the Euro-Atlantic zone, he noted.

"Bilateral political dialogue and economic cooperation with the CIS states, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America are gaining momentum. Strategic cooperation with China and participation in the Belt and Road Initiative is getting increasingly relevant and promising. At the same time, we retain our focus on fulfilling the task of the head of state to maximize and diversify export in terms of geography and assortment," Andrei Yeudachenka noted.

All in all, the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is focused on fulfilling foreign policy and foreign economy tasks set by the head of state. The ultimate goal of these tasks is to ensure multifaceted and balanced cooperation with major foreign partners, to participate in integration projects and processes without compromising the country's sovereignty and independent decision-making, to increase Belarus' role in strengthening security in the region and beyond.

"We have to act against the backdrop of deteriorating systemic crisis of international relations. We believe that consistency and predictability of Belarus' foreign policy is an important factor for our foreign partners," he concluded.
