Belarus admits over 3,000 Ukrainian citizens since 1 January 2023

MINSK, 20 January (BelTA) – Some 3,193 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 1 January 2023, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

According to the committee, 2,366 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 637 - via Lithuania and 190 - via Latvia.

Since 24 February 2022, Belarus admitted 77,897 citizens of Ukraine. 15,890 people arrived in Belarus directly from the territory of Ukraine. 48,871citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 10,787– via Lithuania and 2,349 - via Latvia.
