Belarus admits over 13,500 Ukrainian citizens since 1 January 2023

MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) – A total of 13,559 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 1 January 2023, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

According to the committee, 9,900 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 2,647 - via Lithuania and 1,012 - via Latvia.

Since 24 February 2022, Belarus admitted 88,263 citizens of Ukraine. 15,890 people arrived in Belarus directly from the territory of Ukraine. 56,405 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 12,797 - via Lithuania and 3,171- via Latvia.
