Belarus admits 16,000 Ukrainian citizens since 1 January 2023

MINSK, 7 April (BelTA) – A total of 16,000 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 1 January 2023, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

According to the committee, 11,599 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 3,215 via Lithuania and 1,202 via Latvia.

Since 24 February 2022, Belarus admitted 90,720 citizens of Ukraine. 15,890 people arrived in Belarus directly from the territory of Ukraine, 58,104 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 13,365 via Lithuania and 3,361 via Latvia.
