MINSK, 6 November (BelTA) – Belarus is 38th in the EF English Proficiency Index (EF EPI), BelTA learned from ef.com.
Belarus made to the EF EPI for the first time, as another 12 countries: Albania, Afghanistan, Bolivia, Georgia, Honduras, Lebanon, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Senegal, Uzbekistan, Croatia and Ethiopia, reads the 8th edition of the EF EPI
Belarus is ranked 38th in the Moderate Proficiency group. Russia is 42nd. Ukraine 43rd, Italy is 34th, France 35th. Sweden tops the index, Libya runs last.
EF English Proficiency Index draws on data from 1.3 million non-native English speakers in 88 countries and regions. It is based on test scores from the EF Standard English Test (EF SET), the world's first free standardized English test.
